Whitney Port, actress and fashion designer, is being sued by designer Adrienne Baravetto. Adrienne, who filed the lawsuit on March 19, 2010, claims that she has not received any money after doing most of the work for Whitney’s fashion designs. Adrienne claims that she had an oral agreement with Whitney Eve, Inc (formerly Eve & A), and that she was promised an $80,000.00 per year salary and 25% ownership in Whitney Eve, Inc when the business began in 2007. Adrienne had worked for Whitney Eve, Inc for a short time that ended in early 2008. Whitney denies the reason for the lawsuit claiming that she is and always has been the designer for her company. This lawsuit comes on the tails of the launch of Whitney’s fashion designs earlier this year. According to Whitney’s legal representatives, Adrienne Baravetto’s claims are baseless and without merit.
