Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston is a Grammy Award winning pop singer and actress. Her latest album, I Look to You, was released on August 31, 2009. Houston performed a free concert in Central Park on September 1, 2009. The concert was shown on Good Morning America on September 2. Houston was also interviewed by Oprah Winfrey; the interview aired in two parts on The Oprah Winfrey Show on September 14 and 15, 2009.

Whitney Houston has appeared in well known films such as The Bodyguard and The Preacher's Wife. She has also tried her hand at producing television shows and films including The Princess Diaries and The Princess Diaries 2.

Rumors surfaced in late November 2008 that Whitney Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown may be back together. The couple have reportedly been spotted "looking very romantic" while having dinner together on several occasions. It is being said that the couple's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, would like for her parents to remarry. Whitney Houston's step mother, Barbara Houston, reportedly filed suit against her step daughter in May 2008 claiming that she was entitled to the remaining proceeds from Whitney's late father's $1 million insurance policy, in which Whitney was the beneficiary, as well as the title to his property after the balance of his mortgage was paid.
