Also called the Dumpy Frog or Smiley Frog, Whites Tree Frog (Australian Green Tree Frog) are not only very cute, they are docile, easy to handle and very easy to care for.http://whitestreefrog.net/
Whites Tree Frogs are native to wetlands and rain forests of Asia.reptilefamily.com: [1]
Part of what makes a Whites Tree Frog so charming is that it is not very active. Some owners find this boring - most like the bahavior a lot, as it is part of the frog's personality.
How to Care for a Whites Tree Frog
Whites Tree Frogs need a big tank, like a 30-gallon aquarium. Buy artificial plants at the pet store that are sturdy enough for the frogs to climb and sit on. They are tree frogs, after all. They need to be kept warm - approximately 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Smooth pebbles at the bottom of the tank with a good amount of water at all times are a must. Sphagnum moss is a good addition. Make sure the water dish is large enough for the frog to sit in and relax. That is its primary purpose. It needs to be long and fairly deep - large enough for the frog to stretch out.
White's Tree Frogs cohabitate well, but it is wise to put them together if they are about the same size. Putting a very large tree frog in with a very small one can cause problems.
Whites Tree Frog Talks Back
It's not too tough to get your White's Tree Frog to "talk to you." This is a great example of human and "Dumpy Frog" bonding, and some great close-ups of the white's tree frog.
Frogamid
In a term coined by The Reptile Family, here is a picture of a frogamid, created with three sizes of Whites Tree Frogs. They have no problem hanging on, and seem to enjoy the interaction.
