White Zinfandel Characteristics
White Zinfandel has a relatively low alcohol content, which tightens the ratio of alcohol to sugar. The wine is much sweeter than most wines and even other rose wines as a result.A California native wine, several vineyards in the Central Valley produce grapes almost exclusively for production into White Zinfandel. Red Zinfandels remain popular throughout the United States, and those grown in warm climates such as California tend to be sweet and spicy.
