  • Plot Synopsis

    While filming The African Queen, director John Wilson (based on real director John Hudson) is more interested in hunting down one particular elephant, than he is about his movie. This leads to a conflict with the rest of the crew. Not just because of the movie, but also because of a difference of opinion on whether hunting elephants is a crime against nature. The crew tries to talk him out of the hunt, but he persists. When he can finally takes the shot, he hesitates, and decides to not kill the animal. The elephant charges, but he is saved by his guide, who is killed by the elephant instead.
