Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? is a documentary film about the search for Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in the Middle East. The film follows Morgan Spurlock, famous for his 2003 documentary Super Size Me, as he travels through several countries including Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Presented as an attempt to make the world safer, specifically for his soon to be born son, Spurlock embarks on a journey that is more realistically an attempt to gain an understanding of the region from which Bin Laden came. Though the film has received largely mixed and negative reviews from critics, it has been credited for the effort it makes to present the views and opinions of people in the Middle East to an American audience. The title is intended to be an allusion to the once popular computer game, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?.
