Older Wheel of Time News
January 2009 Universal Pictures has bought the film rights to The Wheel of Time. They have hired Red Eagle Entertainment to get a screenplay written. In posts at Dragonmount.com, Red Eagle say they plan on casting unknown actors and filming in New zealand. IMDB already has a page for this new film. They say it is due out in 2011.
