Wheat Germ

Wheat germ is the part of the kernel from which the wheat seed germinates. It's frequently added to baked goods to increase their nutritional value and can also be sprinkled on cereal or yogurt. Wheat germ is sometimes used as a health supplement and touted for high levels of folate, zinc, iron and fiber.
