  • Plot Summary

    After Annie (Annabella Sciorra) and Chris Neilsen's (Robin Williams) children are killed in a tragic car accident, Annie spirals into depression that nearly ends their marriage. Just as things are turning around for the couple, Chris himself is involved in a fatal car crash. With the help of his spiritual guide Albert (Cuba Gooding Jr.), Chris is just adjusting to life in heaven when he receives news that Annie has committed suicide and been damned to hell. Chris embarks on an epic journey to reunite with his soul mate and save her from despair.
