NBA Career
Wes Unseld was drafted by the Baltimore Bullets in 1968. He helped the Bullets win their division and became the second player ever to win Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player in the same season. Unseld became one of the top rebounding and defensive players in the league.
Unseld led the Bullets to four NBA Finals. The team won the championship in 1978 by defeating the Seattle SuperSonics as Unseld was named Most Valuable Player of the series.
Unseld retired from the NBA in 1981 and was later enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1986.NBA.com: Wes Unseld
