Wentworth Miller is an American actor who first gained recognition for his role in the The Human Stain and now stars as Michael Scofield opposite Dominic Purcell on the FOX hit TV series Prison Break.
Life and Career
Wentworth Miller was born in Oxfordshire, England. His mother was a special education teacher, and his father was a lawyer and Rhodes Scholar.
After graduating from Princeton University with a degree in English, Miller moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. His first big break was in the film The Human Stain, in which he starred alongside Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman. His then landed a lead role in FOX's TV series Prison Break, which cemented his status as a known actor in Hollywood. He has also appeared in two Mariah Carey videos.
