  • Wen Ho Lee is a Taiwanese-American who moved to the US in 1965. He was a scientist for the Los Alamos National Laboratory from 1978 until 1999, when he was wrongfully accused by the U.S. Government and media of being a spy.
  • Accusations

    While working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Lee was accused of stealing information on the United States nuclear cache and giving it to the Chinese. The charges were later dropped.   • Wen Ho Lee Lawsuit

    Lee received a settlement of $1.6 million from the federal government, along with five media outlets, after he filed a civil lawsuit against them alleging they had violated his right to privacy.
