Weekend at Bernie's is a 1989 comedy about two guys (Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman) that are trying to get ahead at work that are invited over to their boss Bernie's house for the weekend where they hope to get in good with him. After finding out that their boss has been murdered, the two try to pretend that he is still alive in order to avoid being questioned by the police and ruining their perfectly good vacation. The movie was a commercial success and spawned the sequel, Weekend at Bernie's II.
