  • Set in the affluent California suburb of Agrestic, Weeds is a half hour comedy about a widowed housewife who sells Marijuana to make ends meet. The show first aired on the Showtime network on August 8, 2005. Since its premiere, the show has met with great critical praise. Lead actress Mary-Louise Parker was awarded the 2006 Golden Globe Award for "Best Performance" by a TV actress in a musical or comedy for her portrayal of drug-dealing mom "Nancy Botwin".
  • Little Boxes

    The show's opening theme "Little Boxes," originally sung by Malvina Reynolds, has been reinterpreted by a number of artists, including Elvis Costello, The Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins and Ozomatli, and run over the show's opening credits.
