Wayne Clough, the former president of Georgia Tech has been named the secretary of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. He has been at Georgia Tech since 1994, and will assume his new job at the Smithsonian on July 1, 2008. He'll be the 12th secreatry at the Smithsonian, which is the largest museum and research institution in the world.
