Water Guns

A Water Gun is a toy designed to shoot water. Before the 1980's water guns could only squirt weakly and had a manual spray trigger. In the mid 80's a battery powered trigger water gun hit the market. This water gun was capable of squirting 250 times per minute. In the early 80's Lonnie Johnson, an engineer from Georgia, invented the Super Soaker water gun. The Super Soaker relies on a pump that compresses the water, increasing pressure in the reservoir. This gives the water stream more strength and distance.
