Watchmen Spoilers, the film adaptation of the graphic novels of the same name, have created quite a bit of online buzz. 'Watchmen is set in a world where superheroes are a regular part of everyday life, and have been outlawed by the US Government.
A vigilante detective named Rorschach uncovers a plot to murder superheroes. Starring Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach, Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian, the film premiered on March 6, 2009.

Dr. Manhattan Interview: In the novel, Dr. Manhattan is interviewed by a generic journalist on news talk show. In the film, Dr. Manhattan is interviewed by news veteran Ted Koppel
Where did the reporters go? In the novel, Dr. Manhattan is mobbed by reporters after his news show interview, so he makes all the reporters vanish and reappear outside. In the film, Dr. Manhattan makes himself vanish, only to reappear on Mars.
Bad vibes: In the novel, reporters tell Dr. Manhattan interview that he might be causing those closest to him to have cancer. In the film, Dr. Manhattan's former lover, Janey Slater, arrives at the new talk show interview and removes her wig to reveal she is actually dying from the disease.
Psych-out: In the novel, psychologist Dr. Malcolm Long descends into his own downward mental spiral after his meetings with Rorschach. In the film, there is no Dr. Long or any similar storyline.
Sober Comedian: In the novel, Laurie confronts Edward Blake (The Comedian) and throws a drink in his face. In the film, that interaction is not included.
Hitting the high notes: While both the novel and the film feature Archie breaking Rorschach out of prison, the film does not utilize the Screechers to do it. In the novel, the Screechers disable both the guards and the convicts with ear-piercing screams.
