The soundtrack for the film Watchmen was released March 3, 2009. It features a wide variety of songs originally released in the 1960's. There is one new song, a cover of Bob Dylan's "Desolation Row" performed by My Chemical Romance. There are three Dylan songs in total used in the film, "Desolation Row," "The Times They Are A-Changin'" and "All Along The Watchtower" performed by Jimi Hendrix. Other artists featured on the soundtrack include Nat King Cole, Janis Joplin, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Simon & Garfunkel and composer Philip Glass.
