Review Quotes

  • "At 2-hours-plus, it's a long, noirish, misanthropic slog through the dank pop-culture dungeons of creator Alan Moore's min Moore and Gibbons' comic book was a dazzling feat of storytelling magic. Too often this movie suggests a hallucinogenic Halloween party hosted by the Village People. Grade: C+"—Boston HeraldBoston Herald: What a Long Strange Trip (March 6, 2009)
  • "One could call bringing Watchmen to the big screen a thankless job. Sure, Watchmen is two-and-a-half hours of homage that too often lapses into camp and whose main theses are lost in gory translation, and time likely will not treat the movie as well as it has the comic. But if it brings more people to Moore and Gibbons' original, then mission accomplished."—WiredWired: Watchmen Review (March 5, 2009)
