Nite-Owl is a fictional character from the Watchmen comic book series.
Actor Patrick Wilson plays the role of the Nite Owl, in the film version of the comic. The Warner Bros. film opens in U.S. theaters on March 6, 2009.
Background
Derailed from his vigilante efforts, after the government Keene Act put an end to his activities, he retired and became overweight and out of shape. When his former superhero partner the Comedian is killed, he teams up with his former partner Rorschach to search for the truth about the murder, before the other retired superheroes become targets of the killer.
Characteristics
Not having super powers or strength, he relies on his technical skills, inventions and "Archie" to fight crime.
