Players begin the story of Warrior Epic 300 years after the First Great War, when a tyrannical power that had dominated the lands was destroyed. Warriors must protect the Kingdom of Providence from the Overlords, evil beings from the four regions. The game utilizes a lobby system, where players can host and join games. Players create and customize their initial character; however, they are prompted to recruit warriors in-game and utilize each one's skills according to the different challenges of the game. All characters recruited are stored at the "Warrior's Hall" until they are needed.
