Warren Moon was a quarterback in the National Football League playing most of his career with the Houston Oilers. Moon was also a quarterback with the Canadian Football League for 6 years, playing with the Edmonton Eskimos prior to his 17-year career in the NFL.
A high school standout in Los Angeles, Warren Moon was highly recruited. However, he decided to attend local two-year institute, West Los Angeles College. After a record setting career at West LA, Moon attended University of Washington where he lead the Huskies to a Rose Bowl victory in 1978. Although very successful in college, Moon went undrafted in the 1978 NFL draft. He went on to play in the Canadian Football League, where he has been voted as the fifth greatest player in league history. Leading the Eskimos to five consecutive Grey Cups, Moon finished his CFL career with a total of 144 touchdowns, and 21,228 yards.
