  • Brief Biography

    A star football player in high school, Warren Beatty was offered a number of scholarships to play at the collegiate level, however, decided to attend Northwestern to study acting. He dropped out a year later to study at the Stella Adler's Conservatory of Acting in New York City. He soon started to act in off Broadway productions, garnering a Tony Award nomination for his performance in A Loss of Roses. He later stared on screen in All Fall Down co-staring Eva Marie Saint. Soon becoming a major film star, Beatty was nominated for best acting role for his portrayal of Clyde Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde and later for acting and directing for the 1981 film Reds.
