  • WarHammer 40k is a miniature wargame, set in a science fiction universe, also this setting is shared with several other games like Battlefleet Gothic, Dark heresy, Space Hulk and Rogue Trader among others. WarHammer 40k is often described as the futuristic version of WarHammer, since in the beginning, both games shared many rules, but with time, the game evolved and developed many rules on his own.

  • Gameplay

    WarHammer 40k like many other wargames uses miniatures, the players agree in a set amount of points, and the rules in the books indicate the value of each miniature. Once the armies are built, they take turns moving their miniatures and attacking each other armies.

    The game doesn't uses a set gameboard instead tape measures or rulers are used to see how far a miniature can move or shot.

    There are light infantry, infantry, heavy infantry and vehicles. There are several kinds of armor, and weapons specialized in doing damage to every kind of forces.

    Miniatures are bought unpainted and unassembled. Many gamers take pleasure in painting and arming their own forces, while others may hire someone else for this task.
