A forklift operator has an unfortunate accident in a Moscow Warehouse. The whole incident was recorded on the CCTV system and you can find the video attached to this page.
The accident occurred in a warehouse in Moscow, Russia. This warehouse was filled with glass bottles of vodka and cognac.
On the video, after a few seconds of slow driving the driver’s foot seems to slip on the accelerator. The next thing you see is the forklift truck plunges into a huge stack of shelves at speed.
Within a matter of seconds the entire shelving system has collapsed. The forklift is covered in a dangerous mixture of crates and smashed bottles. It ends up that all the shelves collapse adding to the carnage.
Soon after, fellow employees are seen to be trying to rescue the colleague/fork lift truck driver. The driver ends us escaping. Miraculously he ends up with minor injuries to one of his legs. The owners pockets were injured much more. The incident is said to have cost the owners the equivalent of $250,000.
The video is available in at least two places on YouTube, and between them they have received over 300,000 views at the time of writing.
