About the Game
Wanted: Weapons of Fate continues the story begun in 2008's Oscar-nominated film, Wanted, and also contains multiple elements that will be fans of the comic book from which the movie spawned. Wesley Gibson, successor to his father's legacy, is a fledgling assassin betrayed by the Fraternity who trained him. He needs revenge, as well as some answers about his mysterious heritage. Many of the key combat elements of the film, such as the fighting style, is faithfully reproduced in the game. There is also bullet curving, which allows players to whip the gun while it's firing to curve the bullet's trajectory and take out enemies behind cover, for example. Bullet Time, a thrilling gameplay element since Max Payne, also makes an appearance in Weapons of Fate. Players can also use their super assassin skills to make bullets collide in mid-air, causing a potentially deadly explosion if timed right.
Many of the signature combat elements from the film, including curving bullets to shoot enemies behind cover and bullet time, are present in the game. Wesley can also cause bullets to collide in mid-air, taking out nearby enemies with a spectacular explosion if timed correctly. The game also features an advanced cover feature that lets players effectively use the environment to protect themselves from enemy attacks. There are also explosive barrels, turrets and sniping locations.IGN: Wanted: Weapons of Fate GameTrailers.com: Wanted: Weapons of Fate Preview
