Walter Massey

  • Walter Massey is an African-American physicist, educator and business leader. Throughout his prestigious career, Massey has served on the boards of companies like Bank of America, Motorola, McDonald's and BP Oil, and also served as director of the National Science Foundation under President George H. W. Bush.

    During the annual shareholder's meeting on April 29, 2009, shareholders voted to retain the current CEO, Ken Lewis, and 17 others to Bank of America's board of directors, despite shareholder's disapproval of Lewis' takeover of Merrill Lynch.
