Walt Daniels was a San Diego Chargers game-day staffer who died after a fall at Qualcomm Stadium on October 19, 2009. Daniels was working in a booth in the press box area when he fell 25-30 feet from the press level of Qualcomm to the seats below. Daniels had been working to set things up ahead of the Chargers' Monday Night Football NFL game against the Denver Broncos.
