Wallace and Gromit are two fictional characters created by Peter Lord and Nick Park. So far, they have appeared in three stop-motion animated short films and one full length feature film.
A Grand Day Out
The Wrong Trousers
In the second short film, The Wrong Trousers (1993), Wallace builds Gromit a pair of "Techno-Trousers" for his birthday, but a jewel-thieving penguin by the name of Feathers McGraw gets a hold of them and uses Gromit to break into a diamond exhibit. The Wrong Tousers won a BAFTA and an Oscar for Best Animated Short.
A Close Shave
For the third short film, A Close Shave (1995), Wallace and Gromit start a window washing company and investigate a sheep stealing conspiracy for one of their clients who runs a wool shop. In this film, the character of Shaun the Sheep is introduced, who got his own spin-off show. A Close Shave also won a BAFTA and an Oscar for Best Animated Short.
A Matter of Loaf and Death
A fourth short, A Matter of Loaf and Death, has been announced. It was originally titled, Trouble At' Mill.
Curse of the Were-Rabbit
In 2005, the first Wallace and Gromit feature film was released, which was entitled Wallace and Gromit The Curse of the Were Rabbit. In the movie, Wallace and Gromit start a pest control business called "Anti-Pesto" and investigate the destruction of all the town's vegetable gardens by a were-rabbit. They attempt to catch the culprit before the annual Giant Vegetable Competition, and also try to thwart Lord Victor Quartermaine who wants to stop the were-rabbit by using violent means.
Grand Adventures
Announced in July 2008, Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures is a series of episodic games that will be released for Windows PC and XBOX Live Arcade in Spring 2009, from Telltale Games.
