Walk Hard

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is a 2007 comedy about the life and times of fictional musical superstar Dewey Cox. Directed by Jake Kasdan and produced by Judd Apatow, the movie satirizes the conventions and style of musical biopics such as Walk the Line and Ray. As an amalgamation of a number of different Rock personalities, including Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Brian Wilson, Dewey Cox is the quintessential Rock Star. The movie also marks the first comedic leading role for John C. Reilly.
