The soundtrack to Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story--an obvious parody of the Johnny Cash biopic, Walk the Line--features humorous original songs sung by the film's cast, notably John C. Reilly (Dewey Cox) and Jenna Fischer (Darlene Cox).
Most of the songs were written by Dan Bern and Mike Viola, while Marshall Crenshaw and Van Dyke Parks also penned some contributions.
