YouTube Comment Snob is a Firefox extension that lets a Mozilla Firefox user filter out comments on a YouTube video based on spelling errors or profanity. This extension can find errors and profanity within the comment section of a Youtube page. You will have a choice in what you want to block. You can choose one or more of the following:
- More than a certain number (however many you choose) of spelling mistakes
- All capital letters
- No capital letters
- Doesn't start with a capital letter
- Excessive punctuation
- Excessive capitalization

Chris started to notice all the unhelpful comments coming in through Youtube and he wanted to develop a way for people, especially those with kids, to filter out the unnecessary or offensive language. Not everyone will like this add on, but for some people it is convenient, and for others, it's necessary. Chris has created 17 add-ons so far, and is constantly working on more.
