Divorce mediators Jeremy Gray (Vince Vaughn) and John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) crash weddings to meet women, always making it a point to never get attached to them.While crashing the wedding of one of the Secretary of the Treasury William Cleary's (Christopher Walken) daughters, however, John falls for the bride's sister, Claire (Rachel McAdams).
John's emotional attachment puts his friendship with Jeremy at risk, and the two realize that they must give up their "crashing" ways and settle down in order to save it.
The film was released to favorable reviews with a 75% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. At the box office, Wedding Crashers grossed $209.2 million domestically, and later won "Best Movie" at the MTV Movie Awards.
