  Von Hutchins was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2004. In his rookie season, Hutchins played in all 16 regular-season games, racking up 45 tackles and an interception.

  After two seasons in Indianapolis, Hutchins signed with the Houston Texans in 2006. He only played in three games that year, but came back in 2007 to play in all 16 games.
