• Acting Career

  Bertinelli made her acting debut in a J.C. Penny television commercial at the age of 11. In 1974, she made a guest appearance on the CBS drama Apple's Way. The following year, she became famous for her role on the sitcom One Day at a Time. The show ran from December 16, 1975 to May 28, 1984. From there, Bertinelli went on to play in television movies including Young Love, First Love, The Seduction of Gina, In a Child's Name, Murder of Innocence, and The Haunting of Helen Walker. Her more recent works include Touched by an Angel, Crazy Love, The Rachael Ray show, and Claire.
