It has been rumored that singer Usher filed for a separation from his wife Tameka Foster early May 2008.

The reason for the separation is unclear at this time.

Usher and Foster were married only nine months ago on August 3, 2007. Foster gave birth to their son Usher Raymond V on November 26 of the same year.

Some are speculating that the separation may be a publicity stunt since Usher's new album is to be released soon and his second video just recently became available on line.
