Five Iranian Revolutionary Guard speedboats were thought to have radioed threats to three U.S. Navy ships sailing in international waters in the Strait of Hormuz on January 6, 2008. It is now believed that a heckler known as the "Filipino Monkey," was actually responsible for the provocative radio transmissions.
