• American film and television actor Thomas Dekker plays Zach on the hit show Heroes, and stars as John Connor on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

  Dekker broke his nose during a photo shoot for photographer Tyler Shields' book The Dirty Side of Glamour in February 2009. Tyler punched and beat Dekker with a police baton during the gritty shoot. Still, Tyler insists that Dekker enjoyed himself, "Even though he broke his nose (he had broken it before), he kind of liked it. • Career

  Starting at the age of six, Dekker appeared on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. In 1997, he played series regular Nick Szalinski on the Disney Channel show Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show. After the show ended in 2000, he made appearances in several television shows including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, House, Boston Public, Reba and 7th Heaven. In 2006, Dekker played Zach on the NBC series Heroes until gaining the lead role of John Connor Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
