• The Hills is an MTV reality spin-off of The Real Orange County and follows the life of Lauren Conrad around Los Angeles, California. Conrad relocates from Orange County to Los Angeles to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and balance her internship with Teen Vogue.

    1. Lauren Conrad: The series' main character, Lauren is a student at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and a former intern at Teen Vogue. Lauren currently works at People's Revolution a public relations and marketing firm along with Whitney Port.

    3. Audrina Patridge: Lauren's close friend and current house mate who works at Epic Records.
    4. Whitney Port: Lauren's good friend and co-worker at People's Revolution. She interned at Teen Vogue along with Lauren during season's one and two.
    5. Lauren "Lo" Bosworth: Lauren's current house mate and good friend. Bosworth goes by the nickname "Lo" and appeared in the first season of Laguna Beach alongside Lauren.
