  • Buying Guide

The first decision to be made when purchasing a Surfboard is deciding on the style of the board. There is the Longboard which is the classic model. Longboards are good for beginners because they are easy to paddle and stand up on. Longboards are anywhere from 7'5" to over 9'0" in length and are traditionally wider than short boards. The tip of a longboard is usually rounded. Shortboards are quicker, easier to maneuver and handle and lighter. But they are also harder to stand up on and learn with. Traditionally shortboards are 5' to 7' feet and have a sharp tip.
