• Steven Seagal is an American actor, producer, writer and director. He was born on April 10, 1951, in Lansing, Michigan, and is known for playing action hero film roles.

  • Personal Life

    Seagal grew up in Fullerton, California. He began martial arts training at the age of seven. He earned belts in karate, aikido, kendo, and judo. Seagal moved to Japan as a young adult where he was an aikido instructor.

    In 1975, Seagal married Miyako Fujitani. The couple had two children together, Kentaro and Ayako Fujitani. The marriage ended in a divorce, but before his divorce was finalized from Fujitani, Seagal married actress Adrienne La Russa. Their marriage ended in an annulment in 1987. Later that year, Seagal tried his hand at marriage once again, with actress Kelly LeBrock. Seagal and LeBrock had three children together, Annaliza, Arissa and Dominic, but ended up divorcing in 1996. Seagal has since been romantically involved with Arissa Wolf and the couple have a daughter, Savannah.

    Segal began his acting career as a martial arts coordinator on the films The Challenge and Never Say Never Again. He made his film debut in 1988, on the set of Above the Law. From there, he acted in the films Hard to Kill, Marked for Death, and Out for Justice. He became famous for his role in Under Siege. His more recent works include Exit Wounds, The Foreigner, Into the Sun, Black Dawn, Shadow Man, Flight of Fury and Urban Justice.
