• Sofia Coppola is a film writer/director and the daughter of Francis Ford Coppola. At a young age she appeared as an extra in many of her father's classic films and acted in a few films under the stage name "Domino". She won a Raspberry Award for her perfomance in The Godfather Part II. She began doing more and more work behind the camera, teaming up with her father in writing the short Life Without Zoe. She made her directorial debut with Bed, Bath and Beyond in 1996 and has since written/directed the films The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette.
