It also included a very special wish to Toronto.

• Career

  Shenae Grimes career started on the Canadian hit show "Degrassi; The Next Generation" as the reoccuring character Darcy Edwards. The character proved popular with fans and became a leading rold, earning Shanae a gemeni award in the show's fifth season. She has made appearences in the television series "Naturally, Sadie", "Kevin Hill", "The Power Strikers", "72 Hours: True Crime" and "Overruled!". She has also had roles in the films "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet", "Shania: A life in eight albums", "Picture This", "The Cross Road" and "Dead Like Me; Life After Death", and is slated to appear in "More True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet". She has also appeared in a Coffee Crisp commercial, and in the music video for the Our Lady Peace song "All You Did Was Save My Life". Most recently she has a leading role as Annie in the CW's hit teen drama "90210" based on "Beverly Hills 90210" which was popular in the early 90's
