• College Football Career

  Prior to playing in the NFL, Springs played college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes. He redshirted in 1993, then went on to play 37 games with the Buckeyes, recording 152 tackles, six interceptions and one touchdown. His performance was honored with All-Big Ten honors as well as the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award in 1996.   Springs made his professional debut with the Seahawks in 1997, playing in 10 games his rookie season. He earned his first Pro Bowl selection after his second season, in 1998. Springs played for the Seahawks through 2003.
