• Seesmic is a video sharing website from French entrepreneur Loic Le Meur. Similar to Twitter, users post updates and reply to one another in short videos. The web site has attracted over 20,000 users to participate in video conversations. The company has expanded its services with the acquisition of Twhirl and a Wordpress plug-in.

• Twirl

  On April 3, 2008, it was announced that Seesmic purchased Twhirl.Loic Le Meur Blog:20 reasons why Seesmic acquired Twhirl The program allows users to access their Twitter accounts without a web browser. It runs on the Adobe AIR platform.

• Wordpress Plugin

  Seesmic has released a plugin that works with the popular blogging platform Wordpress. Once installed, blog readers can easily leave video comments.
