• National Park(ing) Day is an annual event that takes place in cities across the United States on September 19. The event first took place in 2005 and was started by the REBAR art firm. Participants celebrate the nation's open spaces and parks by creating temporary nature installments in parking spots.

    Mahalo.com, Causecast and ThisNext will be teaming up to build a park display in Santa Monica. The display will take up six parking spaces and will be located at 902 Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica.
