  Weisz would start her career by appearing in stage productions and in British television shows. She would garner national attention in the movies Stealing Beauty directed by Bernardo Bertolucci and Chain Reaction starring Keanu Reeves. She would appear in her first box office smash hit in the film The Mummy with Brendan Fraser and it's sequel The Mummy Returns.
