    On July 15, 2008, Quinton Jackson was taken into custody after allegedly crashing his car near Newport Beach, California, and attempting to leave the scene.     Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was a decorated high school wrestler before entering the world of mixed martial arts. Rampage found early success with small time fighting organizations such as King of the Cage and Dangerzone. In 2001, Jackson joined Japan's PRIDE organization and began collecting some significant wins. In 2006, Jackson was signed to the UFC after a brief stint with the World Fighting Alliance. Since joining, Jackson has racked up several high profile wins including middleweight champion Dan Henderson and light heavy weight champion Chuck Liddell.

    On December 27, 2008, Quinton Jackson knocked out Wanderlei Silva in the first round of their match at UFC 92. The punch was a left hook to the jaw which dropped Silva, who was knocked out for nearly five minutes. Jackson avenges two previous losses earlier in his career to Silva.
