Quasi is an indie rock band whose influences include 1960s Garage Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Blues and Avant-Garde music. Formed in 1993 in Portland, OR by the ex-husband and wife duo of Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss, the band has continued to write and record music even though its members have been busy with their various side projects. Their latest release is the 2006 album When the Going Gets Dark.
