• Pineapple Express is a 2008 comedy film by David Gordon Green that stars Seth Rogen and James Franco. In the film, Seth Rogen plays "Dale Denton", a dead-beat stoner who buys his favorite brand of marijuana, "Pineapple Express", from a dealer named "Saul Silver". Dale witnesses a murder, and accidentally leaves his Pineapple Express at the scene of the crime. Dale and Saul must then go on the run in order to escape being hunted and killed by a crooked cop (played by Rosie Perez) and a powerful drug lord (played by Gary Cole).
